No episode this week, but Joe spoke to a few people at the Los Angeles Podcast Festival to talk about why podcasts are important.

Sep 20, 2016

Joe explains why there won't be an episode this week or next, BUT also says what he's going to try to do in the mean time.

Joe and Brandi were in a weird mood this week. Brandi was exhausted from a long difficult week and Joe was in a mood. Brandi discusses her hard day at work and troubles in her dating life, then once she mentioned she has a crush on a guy who is a Trump supporter Joe loses it and they get into a long drawn out discussion about whether it's morally okay for a Christian to vote for Trump. Because the earlier discussions took so long they get into discussing Mark where they talk for a long time about how trying to understand prophecy is pointless, then they discuss they start arguing about whether Rome or the Pharisees killed Jesus and then they start arguing about whether the last supper was Jesus talking about pouring out His blood for the sins of the world or was it for something else. It all gets pretty weird, but they end up stopping early and make a discussion about next week's episode.

Brandi and Joe discuss the right way to drink whiskey, an interesting way to protest in Austin, then they discuss what they're into. Afterwards the get into the Gospel of Mark in which they discuss whether Jesus actually said He's God, Jesus getting really angry at a tree for some reason, why Jesus was so angry in the Temple, whether it's okay to pay taxes, whether we're married in Heaven, how Love is the most important law, and many other things. Enjoy!
